Hello everyone! I hope you all are staying safe and having a wonderful week. I am currently working on a War of 1812 project and need a load of Tarleton helmets for some conversions. I'd like to use Strelets British light infantry in Egypt and their Hussars in Egypt but I am having a hard time finding either set. I've found some on ebay for 40+ dollars but I don't think I'm willing to pay that much. If anyone has some sources I'd greatly appreciate it!
You could try the HaT British Rocket troop (24 figures) or Italeri/Esci British artillery (16 figures). Both are still available on Ebay at reasonable prices, though of course you get fewer heads. Also the old Airfix British horse artillery (11-13 figures).
