Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

I agree. Some beautifully crafted dioramas for sure. What all figures were used? I myself am looking to start collecting a new war/period and the Civil War has been a front runner. The only problem, however, is that the available sets of for the civil war in 1/72 scale seem to be a bit lacking. This may have changed my mind though.

Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

A very nice collection displaying superb painting and a lot of hard work.

I am particularly pleased to see dirty uniforms adding to the realism.

Thank you Stretlets for continuing to post on the forum in such a terrible time.

Best wishes,

Chris

Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

Fine work, with lots of action, great groundwork and backgrounds, and wonderfully-painted figures. Well done indeed!

Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

Superb work and a welcome change of topic, alas it does not distract the mind for long.

Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

Agreed.
Top painting and a really nice ACW diorama.

Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

Yes,

is a top ACW diorama with wonderful painted figures.

Wonderful work... :+1:

Re: Marvellous contribution Chris Stadler

What a marvellous contribution. There's so much to like and envy.
The sheer amount of casualties, the two men in hand to hand combat and the painting of the faces in particular the Union commander.
Thank you Chris for sharing this with us.

James Fisher
Beautifully painted figures, wonderful terrain and composition all presented in glorious photos.

That is how we like our warfare. In miniature and a thing of the past.

Regards, James
I agree...in toto.
