Re: Keep calm and carry on

Amazing in two huge ways. We had no expectation of seeing a Friday teaser and what sensational looking figures! If only 'war' were confined to such objects, as espoused so eloquently by HG Wells in "Little Wars" (pp. 96–100)...

It is all so stupid, not to mention wasteful and devastating for those involved. We have really serious challenges to deal with, requiring international attention and cooperation, and stupid pr!cks decide to go to war… I feel very much for those caught up in someone’s bizarre version of ‘correcting' history.

Regards, James

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Yet another truly beautiful set of soldiers. What nationality we thinking? Dutch perhaps? Either way these last few WoSS sets that have been previewed round out the range perfectly. With such improvement being made year after year by Strelets it's exciting to think what future sets we will have say five years in the future. A Civil War set of men in attack/hand to hand fighting such as this would be awesome. That being said this all counts on this pointless war ending. Not only for our hobby, but much more importantly so people can get back to living their lives and pursuing the things that make them happy. Praying for all the Russians and Ukrainians caught up in this right now. The blame resides on one man and his inner circle.

STAY SAFE Be strong Be brave but not foolish and remeber to duck.Slava Ukrayini !

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Well done Strelets! The blitz spirit lives on in you whilst we here succumb to emotionalism and hysteria.

Great figures. Thank you. Stay safe

Re: Keep calm and carry on

What a unexpected surprise!

After your post the other day about production status etc, I was not expecting anymore masters to be shown.
A nice surprise, especially when we now know the sculptor of said masters is currently involved in the defence of his country. As you mentioned before, he has a long time association with Strelets & his work has been some of my favourite figures ever done.

Here is hoping that someday soon, the guns fall silent, peace is achieved & we will get to see these figures & more of your future work from your team on sale again.
From a free and independent Ukraine.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Perhaps it's just the times, but rarely did figures look more beautiful - and rarely more fragile. Stay safe and strong!

P.S. Michel Ney has held the title of the "Bravest of the Brave" for more than 200 years. Perhaps it's time it's passed on to the Ukranian people ...

Re: Keep calm and carry on

You people are amazing (both Strelets & the country it's based in).

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Bravo! Awesome looking figures!

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Wonderful figures, and a wonderful resolve to Keep calm and carry on.

Well done Strelets. Well done to the people of the Ukraine, and may God keep you safe. Truth and Justice will prevail!

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Another great set... well done. Stay safe brave Strelets crew.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

We will try to be calm and hope you carry on. Such boldness and balls for Strelets to post this. I need some help to identify the figures,,,,,French? Dutch? (They have bow cockades unlike the Bavarians you posted in more peaceful times a few weeks ago)
Someday and somewhere you WILL be able to produce these and many others. I’m sure of that!
Tell the sculpture - now in the reserves - to keep his head and ass down. Good advice from this old soldier. A name would help,,,,,someday maybe.
Spirits up. It’s never as bad as you think it’s going to be.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

I was thinking Dutch as well. French uniforms didn’t have the neck tie I don’t believe, but these uniforms also look very similar to those of the Austrians in march.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

I think you’re right. A very good match to the marching Austrians.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Toujours très grands Mr Strelets. Merci

Surtout restez en sécurité

Re: Keep calm and carry on

The glory and freedom of Ukraine has not yet perished
Luck will still smile on us brother-Ukrainians.
Our enemies will die, as the dew does in the sunshine,
and we, too, brothers, we'll live happily in our land.

We’ll not spare either our souls or bodies to get freedom
and we’ll prove that we brothers are of Kozak kin.

God bless and good luck

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Wow - I am in awe of you guys! God bless you and keep you safe from harm.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Your spirit is humbling - blessings to Ukraine and Ukrainians.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

To Strelets, those you love, and the amazing Ukranian people. You are constantly in our thoughts and prayers. You have shown the world how to deal with a tyrant. May you stay safe and free.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Looks like Rowe's brigade assaulting the palisade at Blenheim...fantastic figures...praying for Ukraine....the world has gone mad.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Heureux d'avoir de vos nouvelles. Prenez soin de vous. Que vive l'Ukraine.

Re: Keep calm and carry on

Dearest Strelets,

I just want to say it's Saturday at noon here in the U.S. and you and all of Ukraine are on our minds and in our prayers.

Thank you for still posting your masterful masters for us to enjoy, and we do! Your thoughtfulness is appreciated more than you can know! And you, too - please carry on.

One of your toy soldier family - GC
