Welcome to the Strelets Forum.
Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets.
If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
This was discussed in part in the thread entitled 'If':
I reckon it depends on how fussy you are at the scale and/or how much knife work you are prepared to undertake. The lack of turnbacks would be the first thing to rectify, I'd say.
Another company already makes British Infantry and Cavalry and a Scottish or Irish Cavalry in French service for the 1745 Jacobite Rebellion that are wearing the correct uniforms, there wasn't that many years between one conflict and the other. Russians and French would be very welcome.
Thanks for your responses. It seems to me that Strelets the dismounted French Dragoons would come closest, as PSR mentions their uniform lasted until 1750 or so. I’m not a converter by any stretch, especially at this scale, unfortunately.
Hopefully a dedicated set of 7YW French will be made. It’s not my main area of interest, but still a fascinating period.
