A fine collection of ACW figures, based I believe for the wargames table and painted nicely to a very acceptable wargaming standard. Well done Igor!
I very much like the way that different figures have been combined to create interest in each base, be it as a 'firing line', skirmish line', 'command base' and so on.
I am particularly intrigued however by a couple of the photos which show Union and Confederate soldiers in hand-to-hand combat. Are these bases intended to show 'melee' taking place on the tabletop? I don't think I have seen opposing sides put together on the same base before, in a wargaming context.
All in all, a nice collection of figures and photos.
Good effort ,no reflection on the painting skills and work effort of our fellow enthusiast , but every time I see the ACW figures painted I am left thinking what a shame they did not get made to the standard of the WSS sets.
These are great! The troops look tops and the basing is fantastic in both arrangement and aesthetics. I really like the variety of uniform items /colours that you have used. Most fitting.
It is refreshing to see figures painted for on-table action and effect rather than just for show and I'd love to see them in a game in a future posting. All power to you.
you can never have enough civil war figures!!!!
Excellent painting of your ACW figures! I especially like the Confederate Cavalry with light blue trousers and yellow collar and cuffs, and Confederate Infantry with light blue trousers and light blue collar and cuffs. Forever my favorite combinations!
I like soooo much those figs...good painted and basted. Bravo Igor.
wonderful painting and presentation of your ACW figures.
Do you use them for table top-gaming ?
They may bring you many victories.. :v:
