I admired it last night, but forgot to say so after commenting on another thread, yes very good, and no idea who the queen in question is, so a history lesson awaits when I research it later, 10/10 from me, great stuff.

I also have to confess that I know nothing of this particular Queen, and indeed my knowledge of the history of Francia in 490 AD is also pretty sketchy. I'm assuming that the sturdy bridge is a late Roman structure which has survived the departure of the legions particularly well. A well-modelled structure.
But...is the Queen hidden beneath the canopy of the cart? And is that an ambush taking place on the far side of the bridge? Or is that the relief escort simply brandishing their weapons?

The queen is indeed hidden beneath the canapy of the cart.
Queen Chrodegildis was the wife of Clovis ( 466-511), a merovingian king.
He was the first king of all the franks. He unite the Frankish tribes under one ruler and was
born in Tournai ( Doornik ) in modern Belgium.
The merovingian and (later) the carolingian dynasty are the founders of France.

Nicely done Dirk, if you want to add a suitable lady, then the Shrouded seated lady in the Atlantic/Nexus set would work costume wise for a Merovingian woman...
