American Civil War Cavalry sets

Dear Strelets,

I have just managed to lasso both of your mounted Civil War Command sets, as well as set 1 of the union command. It made me wish that you would produce a few cavalry sets for each side. I like set 151 of union cavalry skirmishing, and would like to see further like sets for both sides in the conflict. The icing on the cake would be a set of the Iron Brigade black hats for the union side. I just set up my artillery for the War of the Spanish Succession and am very pleased with them. Thank you.

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

Yes please to more ACW cavalry!!

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

I concur.

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

I would also be interested in ACW cavalry, but following after a good set of ACW Zouaves.

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

Dear Strelets, i would buy a TON of your calvary sets!!!!!!!!!!!!

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

I can 100% get behind this. The Civil War in 1/72 scale seems to severely lack any good cavalry sets. I can promise multiple purchases of such a set from myself!

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

me too, me too!!!

Hi
yes, another gap to be filled.
Also, good artillery sets, possibly as I previously suggested, "Big Box" sets with assorted guns, limbers, officers, extras.
These and many others would be most welcome!
Carry on Collecting folks!
Richard

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

I'd buy any ACW sets Strelets chooses to produce, and cavalry for both sides are no exception.:relaxed:

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

Not my period, but I would buy a good set, made to the same standard as the WSS sets. What does good look like ? ,well for me an action set has troops firing pistols and looking like they are trying at least to aim at what they are shooting at, not looking another way, sabres used defensively as well as offensively, bugler with bugle at his side not permanently to his lips, he is in a fight too and will need to defend himself, horses that look as terrified as they should be ,the occasional casualty would be nice too.

All of Alan's comments are very engaging! Very, very well said. I would love to see both U.S and C.S.A. Cavalry sets following Alan's guidelines.

Thank you, Alan!
Thank you Strelets Team!

Re: American Civil War Cavalry sets

Mr. Strelets, Well, looks like I'm not the only one {:-)) I totally agree that whichever sculptor(s) working on the WSS sets should be commissioned to do the Civil War as well would be a dream come true. The bar there has been set pretty high. I promise to buy a brigade of everything, but especially with cavalry , as there are usually only twelve in a set, Strelets would sell a LOT of sets for us all to be able to build up the required numbers in our collections. Multiple sets depicting defense, charging, on the march, etc. for each side would also increase the sales and consumer interest. Seems like a win/ win for all.

Please give us ACW Calvary!!!!!
