Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
Many thanks for the compliments and enquiries about my Stamford Bridge submission.
I feel timing of the posting of the same is a bit unfortunate following straight on from Borodino's immaculate last and General Pictons realistic High Road.
Minuteman has it right, for me I just try to put the lads in some kind of setting as a basic enhancement of my painted figures before they are destined for the box and the attic.
The bridge was scratch made from barbecue skewers and matchsticks. I needed to make it so the Saxon scallywag could thrust up with his spear between the planking and put paid to the Viking champion by underbridge methods. This figure was the only one that wasnt Strelets but an Emhar deckhand (the pose was right and he fit in the barrel).
Thank you, for the encouragement.
Paul
If you mean geographically rather than metaphorically...Stamford Bridge is in Yorkshire, not too far from York. It is not the Stamford Bridge in London used by a rich and famous football club. That is something else altogether....
