Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Well, the week has rolled by and it is Friday again. In the UK the sun is shining and we are enjoying relative freedom with the most recent 'Covid lockdown' having just ended.

But despite all the outdoor things that we could be doing, the World of plastic figures remains important, doesn't it? So...will Friday offer some more of those nice British Napoleonics that we saw a week ago: a Firing Line perhaps?

With Gerd's magnificent Prussian cavalry and Borodino's superb General Staff in the last week, things seem to be becoming more Napoleonic. The established order of things is returning !!

Have a good weekend:grinning:

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

At least the homepage shows the next set of Napoleonic Russians. Let the drought be over for the Napoleonic fans!

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

I agree lets see some more Napoleonic sets hopefully firing lines to keep the curly wurly wigs away.

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Cant believe its Friday again already! Year is going by fast!!
Yes another hint as to what set those casualties are part of would be interesting.
Firing/defensive line would be fantastic as would an "in square" set.
Hopefully the rest have bayonets fixed though!! Gluing bayonets on is probably the worst job in the hobby!! Swapping heads is one thing, but please....mould the bayonets on!!!

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Now, that initial hunger pangs for Napoleonics have been calmed down with our earlier announcement, it's time to relieve a thirst:

and come to a more serious meal:

Nice week-end to everybody!

Best regards,

Strelets

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Thank you Strelets,
You have made my weekend. The Napoleonic Hussar, at ease, is great but the WWI French, at ease, are absolutely fabulous

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Wonderful French ww1 Infantry in greatcoats, hope we will see them also in action.

Cheers,

Alessandro

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Dear Strelets,

As ever a delight on a Friday night.

That Russian hussar is magnificent.

The Poilus enjoying a canard marvellously sculpted.

Thank you,

James

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Very good, can`t wait to see the rest of that set of French infantry.

There was me thinking the first figure was holding a duck, I looked again and it`s obviously a Vulture ;-)

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Nice Russian hussar. Presumably another "at ease" type set on horizon.

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Great set of WW1 French Poilus. I look forward to seeing the other figures.

If you do WW1 Scots at ease will there be one pose eating shortcake pieces?:grinning:

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Such interesting figures and a great variety. Thank you Strelets!

I'm sure you mean shortbread, I can't see Scots soldiers eating shortcake. Unless it's battered and deep fried:laughing:

But yes, there has to be a pose eating it.

Fabulous figures, the seated WWI French are just wonderful. The hussar looks magnificent, just the way a hussar should.

Re: Friday again...more Napoleonics??

Very beautiful WWI French soldiers. It's time for WW1 to come forward. After all it was the great war, the greatest European conflict, if we admit that the second W.W. was just its second part... (and don't forget Gallipoli - please)
