I have been studying Borodino's latest contribution.
These are in a different class completely, I've only just got over his Foreign Legion on Patrol and now he hits us with these.
I'm going back to bed and I might not get up.
These are very good indeed, great detailing and basing. Well done!
I also very much like the character that has been included in both the sculpts and the artwork itself. The Emperor looks withdrawn and moody, obviously contemplating why it is that all the Crowned Heads of Europe seem to hate him for some reason...!! Marshall Ney looks courageous and commanding, and the other two look as if they are ready to try to cheer up the Emperor with some 'good news'.....perhaps the arrival of a few more Strelets French infantry in Action sets in 1812-15 uniforms, ready to reinforce the Centre?
Thanks for sharing these superbly painted figures. :+1:
Once again a great job highlighting the varied & ever present character of some beautiful Strelets figures.
a great set and brilliantly painted much better than my efforts so an inspiration to get better, I got several boxes of this set so I could have more regimental bands for my French units. going to slightly convert one of my spare seated Napoleons and put him in a carriage that I just bought
As the others have said, a marvellous paint job on these. I particularly like the aurore-gold that you have use for the epaulettes and coat ornamentation.
