Re: Etat Major Anglais

Bravo Philippe!

It is wonderful to see figures from one of Strelets' early sets and looking so 'd@mned fine' too!

Whenever I am looking at early Strelets or painting them, I am reminded of just how good they were/have always been. You demonstrate this in spades. There is wonderful detail and animation in these figures and you have brought it out excellently.

Bien cordialement, James

Re: Etat Major Anglais

Yesssss please, strelets, bring the Duke out for the spring with his generals, don.t forget the two the sapaniards generals, and theird generals on horseback, in the middle of the battle of Waterloo, yes? Thaks

Re: Etat Major Anglais

Well done, they look great, and nice to know at least one of the noisy Nappy fans has remembered where he keeps his paints:innocent: .

Re: Etat Major Anglais

Cheeky bugger Alan, get back in ya sand pit! :)

They are always being done and there will be many more on the way, don't worry.

Meant as tongue-in-cheekidly as yours, of course.

Regards, James

Re: Etat Major Anglais

James, that was a loud laugh to start the day...

Re: Etat Major Anglais

That's what I like to see! I love Strelets personality and staff figures and these are beautifully painted. Fabulous contribution.

Re: Etat Major Anglais

Very nice painting indeed.
A golden oldie set!!

Re: Etat Major Anglais

Bravo Philippe!! Nice paint figs.

Re: Etat Major Anglais

A lovely job! Great eye candy to open a Friday.

Re: Etat Major Anglais

May I add my congratulations to Phillipe for such a splendid addition to the contributions. We sometimes get caught up with the newest sets and the improved sculpting. However this reminds me of what attracted me to Strelets, they had personality further enhanced by the painting.
Now, where did I put those Napoleonics....
