Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

Well that hard work ( & colour toner!!) in producing those backgrounds has certainly paid off as they are excellent and they complement your figures perfectly. Fantastic work.

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

Dear Gerd,

They look marvellous! Excellent painting and presentation of these figures. Lovely to see.

Regards,

James

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

Hello,

I thank you for the praise.
I am constantly building up my Landwehr unit. First it was only a group, then a company, now a battalion. It takes a lot of time to paint a large unit.

By the way, I have a small picture puzzle built into the photos.
Who sees the small difference?

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

The smoke not in the second picture?

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

Outstanding work! Those pictures look like photographs.

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

Dear Gerd, they are absolutely fantastic - see you in Plancenoit!

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

James is the winner...

Wavre is burnig in the background....but not on the second image.. :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye: :+1:

Re: More Prussians on the way to Plancenoit

Excellent work on these very good figures. Impressively staged troops in an appealing setting. The scene composition is harmonious and convincing, a real feast for the eyes. :+1:

Thanks to Strelets, we now receive ever more reasonable sets for troops that brought Napoleon down in numerous & costly battles.
Hoping for many more Russian, Austro-Hungarian, Prussian & “smaller“ states sets regarding the crucial 1812-15 campaigns. :relaxed:
