Plancenoit

Dear all, here are some images of my Plancenoit diorama using many Strelets figures:

More on my blog at: http://generalpicton.blogspot.com

Strelets are producing some fantastic figures at the moment, and I look forward to integrating their Prussian cavalry.

Re: Plancenoit

Magnificent, a work of art! I very much like the variety in the figures (many conversions) and the big church as the centrepiece...with, by the looks of things, a little battle damage to the roof as well! Inspiring.

Re: Plancenoit

I've said it before - awe inspiring.

Re: Plancenoit

As ive said on another forum, this is fantastic and inspiring work.
The research thats been going into this project is amazing also 👍

Re: Plancenoit

Amazing work wow.

Re: Plancenoit

Well done...

The old, smaller Church and the church yard...
Good investigation and historical correct..

But were are the Prussians ?

Re: Plancenoit

General Picton, Sire !

Do you need some support fire from my prussian artillery ?

It´s time to get Plancenoit in our hands... :crossed_swords:

Re: Plancenoit

Dear Gerd, your support would be most welcome. Here is a Prussian Horse Battery awaiting orders to join the diorama:

Re: Plancenoit

Wonderful...a complete battery...

They are fantastic..

Are they plastic or tin ??

Today im just able to send you a half battery of 12 pounders..
Marshal Blücher cant send more guns in the moment.
But they are on the way now..

Re: Plancenoit

They need a little bit time from Coutoure-Saint-Germain to Plancenoit.

But your support is coming..

Re: Plancenoit

Dear Gerd, they are a mixture of Art Miniaturen and some other metal figures, along with some plastic dismounted gunners. Your figures are fantastic - are they all conversions?

Re: Plancenoit

Hallo,

Must look for those Art Miniatures...they look pretty good.
Your battery gives a good impression, who much men, horses and equipment this prussian batteries with their eight guns have.

Yes, my prussian arty is a great mixture of parts and sets.
Many parts are self-made and duplicated with Silikon-forms and resin.
What you see, is a mixture of Revell-, Airfix-, Zvezda-, Strelets- and Resin-Parts..
You cant buy them anywhere...
But: If there are thinks you cant buy - you must make them... :stuck_out_tongue_winking_eye:

Sire,
i like to report, that the first 12 pounder-guns have reached their position now.
And the gunners make them ready to fire:

Re: Plancenoit- Prussian Arty - Ready to fire

General Picton, Sire !

Like to report you that my prussian half-battery of 12-pounders has completly reached firing position and starts distance measuring fire.

First shots are too short, but the last two hit the wall of the church wall.
Battery is now ready for support fire.

Think the infantry attack to Plancenoit could be started in 20 min.

Re: Plancenoit- Prussian Arty - Ready to fire

Gerd, those are really fantastic, wish we had you on the project!

Re: Plancenoit- Prussian Arty - Ready to fire

General, Sire !

Thank you for this honour..

I do my best..
But your work is also really impressive.

My battery is now shooting permanent support fire.
And i think the first infantry units will pass our position in some minutes.

Hope you enyoy my work...

Re: Plancenoit - Prussian Attack

Sire,

the prussian infantry is on the way.

Great columns of line Infantry and Landwehr are passing our position.

The great attack against Plancenoit has started.

Bonaparte's end is near...

Re: Plancenoit - Prussian Attack
