Mexican Revolution - Viva!!!

Just a follow up on earlier post this week about figures for the Mexican Revolution - there are so many movies out there that are either about the Mexican Revolution - or take place with the Mexican Revolution as a backdrop - The Professionals, The Wild Bunch, 100 Rifles, A Fistful of Dynamite etc etc. etc. - lots of inspiration for scenarios for war gaming with 1/72 figures.

Yes Pedro. Plenty of films on the subject make us dream of the beautiful dioramas we will make on this period. Viva Zapata.

Don't forget the film "Villa Rides" and by the way it has an excellent soundtrack by Maurice Jarre! Could be a very interesting period to model …

Jacklex Miniatures make them in 20mm metal. The range hits the highlights. Still, I would buy them from Strelets in plastic too.

Shellhole Scenics have infantry, artillery and cavalry sets for several units. Early War Miniatures do some as well. All in metal.

It appears both have solved the problem of casting a sombrero by supplying separate heads.
