British Infantry in attack

What a fantastic display of well painted troops Mr B.

There is a real ‘feel’ of the period.

Well done.

Best wishes,

Chris

Re: British Infantry in attack

One word.....wow!!!

Re: British Infantry in attack (after 1707)

Excellent painting and basing of these very good figures. Well done Mr Borodino!

It is also good to see large flags carried by the colour bearers. I for one always prefer to replace the moulded flags where this is possible. What is the source of the flags please?

One point of detail: These are only 'British' infantry after the Act of Union between Scotland and England in 1707. Before then they are either 'English' or 'Scottish'. The flags also show post-1707 colours, with the crosses of St George and St Andrew combined. So these are soldiers of the latter half of the WoSS. as they would have appeared for instance at the Battle of Malplaquet.
