Re: It's Friday

Beautiful. Just one request. Can you make two sets of these? One mounted on horses and another on camels. I'm thinking of you Alan...
I'd buy this set if they were mounted on mules!

Hello Wayne, Alan likes desert stuff but I'm the pest who keeps requesting camels. Strelets could have sated my appetite somewhat by including camels in their 'Napoleon in Egypt' series. Perhaps they might add one (or more) to the LRDG series: oh yes, Alan and I definitely need a 'Jerry-can' full of figures for that oh so important desert campaign.
Pretty please Strelets

p.s I sometimes wonder why Alan likes 'desert' things: could it be because he lives in the Wet-lands of the West Country or is it family history? Mine is both; as I live in a soggy part of Devon and my father was in the LRDG.

p.p.s I will be buying these new additions to the W.S.S. for two reasons: a) Because I like them and b) because it will provide Strelets with more revenue to direct towards the cost of producing more Camels.

Re: It's Friday

Nice figures but dont think I can use them at Gallipoli.

Re: It's Friday

Great figures, full of character and very well detailed. I'll certainly look forward to adding these to my French WoSS army!

Re: It's Friday

Sooooo... tempting, keep up the good work on the War of Spanish Succession.

Re: It's Friday

Webmaster , we like desert stuff too, particularly 1940-43 desert stuff, just saying in plenty of time for next week.

Re: It's Friday

Alan, I tried.

Re: It's Friday

Wayne a 1000 apologies , because of the subject, I just commented without reading what had been said before,so I missed your Camel request, belated appreciation from me, fingers crossed for chaps with sand between their toes for next week.
