Re: Dear Sirs,

Strelets-R
our new lot of figures having undergone all kind of tests has proven to be safe for use by people of 4+ y.o.
A previous terribly misleading sign showing age limitation for people between 0-5 y.o. has been covered by a sticker showing proper age limitation of 0-3 y.o., thus giving us an additional chunk of customers between 3 and 5 years old.
With that increase of our customer base we will surely bounce back to yet unprecedented heights and we will start that climb with distribution of the new lot, that consists of 15 new sets:
M139
M142
155
204
211
222
227
228
229
237
245
246
247
270
290
and 5 re-issued sets:
M114
M119
M122
M127
172
The first lots have been sent to various destinations in Europe and should reach shops there next week. UK shops along with Australian and NZ ones will receive the new lot next week as well. US shops will follow suit shortly thereafter.

You may contact your local suppliers for the products.

Enjoy your week-end.

Best regards,

Strelets
Perfect timing with my for quarantine coming back from France.

Re: Dear Sirs,

Tut, tut. Clearly you are a very bad man, toying, as it were, with the very lives of our young. We should all be grateful that we have the stultifyingly obtuse bureaucracy necessary to thrawt your diabolical plans.

Thanks for the update and best wishes

Re: Dear Sirs,

Dear Strelets,

Great to see that you have all retained your sense of humour during what must have been a most frustrating experience.

Isn't it pleasing to see that officials have their eyes on such important matters? Especially during this time when companies are struggling with challenging conditions for production and distribution—survival of the business, even.

Thank you and congratulations on such a fine list of your lovely figures.

Mine are on the way and I look forward to seeing them sometime next month.

Regards, James

News on the WoSS British Cavalry would be much appreciated but in view of the recent turmoil and an obviously busy time at Strelets, I think an update in the autumn would be reasonable?

Are you intending to use the French pikeman as just that...or for A N Other army (eg: GNW Russians) Old John?

I'll certainly be interested to see how the pikes work in the moulding process...or perhaps Strelets will do as Mars now do and provide lengths of suitably long and slender round plastic to allow you to cut to length, fashion a pointed head and attach to the figure.

Re: Dear Sirs,

"..thus giving us an additional chunk of customers between 3 and 5 years old.

Wonderful... :joy:

Re: Dear Sirs,

i will probably use some of the pikemen as French, and some other nations as well, won't decide until i've got the figures, possibly Papal Guard, standard bearers, maybe Venetians, and depending on whether pikes moulded with figure or loose, if loose i usually use florist wire as pikes, there are metal pike commercially available , i have a stock which i can use
As for WSS British cavalry think we will have to be patient for their release, am sure Strelets will keep us all posted on progress
stay safe
cheers Old John

Re: Dear Sirs,

I know we all want to recruit people to the hobby, but infant to 5 yrs old is a bit early...LOL!

Re: Dear Sirs,

Hi Strelets,

What retailers stock your fantastic product in NZ? I buy mine on line from Michigan Toy Solider, as although years ago, Acorn Models stocked Strelets, I've not seen them in hobby stores here for years.

Re: Dear Sirs,

Hi Richard, In regards to supply of Strelets figure sets: If you don't have any luck with local New Zealand shops, you could try Metro Hobbies in either Box Hill or Melbourne, here in Victoria Australia or possibly Hearns Hobbies also in Melbourne. I know Metro Hobbies do mail order but not sure about Hearns Hobbies. I don't know what the postage costs would be to NZ though, hopefully not too exorbitant. Good Luck ...
