Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
I think its time for some new Napoleonic cavalry maybe British or Austrian if Mr strelets could be so kind.
Amen to that. Especially British Light Dragoons or Hussars. Massive gap out there for those guys to be done properly.
But would also be overjoyed to see British/KGL, Brunswick, Nassau etc infantry in square also. Or light infantry (inc riflemen) skirmishing. In fact any sets suitable for 1812 onwards, especially Waterloo
!! Oh and of course some Bardin uniformed French Foot Artillery!!! 😊
Fifth ...James will think I have had a lie in ....More Desert stuff please, we have all had quite enough of all that black powder nonsense.
It's all been a bit 'dusty' on Fridays for the last few weeks; so much though I'd be vaguely interested to see some more Afrika Korps Support Group figures, I'd really like to see some 'black powder' figures. Or even something earlier and less dusty.
Oh, and those Martini Henry rifles used to create a fair bit of gun smoke, as Mr Buckingham will be all too well aware....
For anyone interested, here is a short video of a '100 year old Martini Henry cartridge' being fired! https://www.youtube.com/watch?reload=9&v=KdSzOztikGc
Well, since, as a result of the present Lull of the Spanish Succession, I've just invested heavily in Strelets ACW and Russo-Turkish sets for conversion to War of the Triple Alliance troops, I expect that's what Strelets will announce next!
But, yes, for preference, clouds of black powder over swarms of black flies would be nice ...
Do you not think that the Strelets teams are in the process of putting the standards on the boxes back on track, so that they can be marketed as quickly as possible? The heat, the holidays and the work, it can be very complicated for them . . . . . . In any case good luck if that is the case.
Fantastic figures! These will be ideal as part of the Maison du Roi cavalry in my French WoSS army. Well done to Strelets!!
Would be good to see the horse sculpts for these gentlemen some time?
.....And, although I hesitate to say it, these fine figures are a relief from all that sand, dust, flies and distant mirages of recent weeks.
