Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Count me in!!!
Gallipoli Turks (with German advisors) , British, French and ANZAC (of course) is a must. I shall buy many sets of them!!!

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

I would love to see more ww1 sets, Gallipoli campaign too of course

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

German Asia Corps for Palestine campaign would be great as well.

Richard Hern

That would be a colourful addition. Strelets say that camels don't sell well. So far they have only made four which unfortunately appeared in every camel set. A little variety would go a long way and I'm sure will be good for sales.

Hi. In for Gallipoli / middle East theatre. Loved the sets produced so far.

Cheers

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

For the French the existing FFL in pith helmets are sufficient. For the Brits both HAT's tropical kit and Strelets British Camel Corps can be used (minus of course, the Lewis guns which were not in widespread use in 1915 - and certainly not in the Dardenelles).

If you look though at the photos of the campaign I can't think of any other (with the exception the Asia-Pacific theatre in WW2) where both sides look so motley and (as we say in NZ/Australia) so 'raggedy-arsed'). It would be good to try and capture that in any figures.

Also, WW1 Gurkhas.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Would an odd Camel be one with three humps ?
