Re: Whatever happened to:

I`m looking forward to these WW1 sets and hope Strelets will also do ANZACS
French and Bulgarians for the Gallipoli campaign too.
Hopefully soon we`ll see WW2 Japanese in winter gear with some Chinese opponents !

Re: Whatever happened to:

do hope they get made.ww1 british gallipoli in all sorts of outfits would be so cool

Re: Whatever happened to:

Winter uniform Japanese and Chinese forces both GMD and CCP would get my vote.

Re: Whatever happened to:

I hope for WW2 Chinese Communists, Nationalists and Militia.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

I expect they have taken a back-seat whilst the WSS sets are being produced.
I certainly hope they are being made. I need more Turks; not just for Gallipoli but for the Palestine theatre too.
Dear Strelets could we have just the odd camel or two in some of the sets. Even a baggage beast or command bearer.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Count me in!!!
Gallipoli Turks (with German advisors) , British, French and ANZAC (of course) is a must. I shall buy many sets of them!!!

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

I would love to see more ww1 sets, Gallipoli campaign too of course

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

German Asia Corps for Palestine campaign would be great as well.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Richard Hern
German Asia Corps for Palestine campaign would be great as well.
That would be a colourful addition. Strelets say that camels don't sell well. So far they have only made four which unfortunately appeared in every camel set. A little variety would go a long way and I'm sure will be good for sales.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Hi. In for Gallipoli / middle East theatre. Loved the sets produced so far.

Cheers

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

For the French the existing FFL in pith helmets are sufficient. For the Brits both HAT's tropical kit and Strelets British Camel Corps can be used (minus of course, the Lewis guns which were not in widespread use in 1915 - and certainly not in the Dardenelles).

If you look though at the photos of the campaign I can't think of any other (with the exception the Asia-Pacific theatre in WW2) where both sides look so motley and (as we say in NZ/Australia) so 'raggedy-arsed'). It would be good to try and capture that in any figures.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Also, WW1 Gurkhas.

Re: Whatever happened to The Gallipoli Turks? and possibly an odd Camel?:

Would an odd Camel be one with three humps ?
