Welcome to the Strelets Forum.
Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets.
If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
Thats my lunch in the bin now lol, However I have to admit its a great pose and will be great for raids on the airfield and hidden fuel dumps in the desert. It looks like a pose right out of my commando comics as a child
Nice to see you are seeing your contributions on this forum coming to reality I wonder if you could mention a few Napoleonic gun crews in your next post lol
Nice figures, but nothing of interest for me.
It seems that I will spend my money for other sets and activities.
Have a nice week.end, very hot and sandy
thank you for your friendly bridge-building, but I presume that Strelets has lost any interest for WSS.
Eventually some critics on some sets have discouraged them to dare further sets to this range. We can hope only that the soldes persuades them soon to change their mind - especially since there are hardly any affordable vehicle-models left on the market for theirs LRDG´s.
But there are still so many other periods and themes left, which Strelets can fill with new figures.... and I love really shakos and tricornes
In relation to the double figure revealed today I feel that this is a great example of the sculptor's skill and artform. This proves that Strelets are leading the way with not only fascinating subject matter but unique poses that actually tell a story. We can only imagine what figures are yet to be revealed in the near future.
No matter what the period is I always look forward to the creation of your master figures and the thought that goes into their composition. With all these tempting images over recent weeks and months, one question though, (without putting too much pressure on the good people at Strelets) - When can we expect the LRDG and the new Foreign Legion sets to be released ? We are eagerly awaiting these absolute gems ...
I hope the FFL will be escorting/guarding a mule train set! lol
And is the hand-to-hand LRDG vs DAK a bonus figure or in a mixed "combat" set?
Great to see more FFL after the artillery ones. Hopefully we see mules, mounted legionaires and some carts. That will be the full picture. And the icing on the cake will be Spanish soldiers for RIF War.
Very interesting figures especially the French. Like the way they are crouched down trying not to get shot at! The idea of mules that has been put forward certainly has milage for many conflicts they were the essential form of transport. Personally I always fancied a mountain gun set which could be transported by mules. Not sure how that would pan out but it would be a great set!
Could do with more colonial French but of a slightly later period say the 1940-42 period for North Africa, Lavant, Madagascar and Indo China (too much too ask for Thai troops?) as they did seem to be in conflict with almost everybody except the third Reich.
Most are worldly wise I know......
