How long it is, when we wait!

How long it is, when we wait!

All of this is attractive. And I'm waiting. And I'm waiting. I am looking forward to it more and more. Of course I understand the difficulties encountered in these unique global circumstances. But couldn't have an idea, an estimate, an early prediction this answer to this question: "When all these expected wonders will be available at retailers?" Because the more candy you show on Friday, the more my appetite comes, and then I'm hungry. . . . . . And for You ?

I hope to you for a good Sunday.

Kind regards

I agree, the pictures of new figures that appear on Fridays from Strelets is exciting, intriguing and fascinating, but rarely is it disappointing. I would never have believed, for instance, that a manufacturer might be making a Finnish Anti-tank squad!! This is not a set that I will be rushing out to buy, but it is a tribute to the inventiveness of Strelets, and their willingness to make sets that others will not even consider.

It is for this reason that I am grateful to Strelets for taking a chance and making their War of Spanish Succession range.

I am a very patient and, perhaps even, a stoical person ("what will be will be") but I have to admit to quite a degree of eager anticipation for certain forthcoming sets: The WoSS cavalry sets of course, but also the very fine Napoleonic cavalry sets that we have seen recently, the Napoleonic Bavarians and others.

At a time when other manufacturers have retreated from the challenges and risks of making new sets, Strelets continue to do so. Well done!

Re: How long it is, when we wait!

Dear Zouave72,

normally period between creation of master models to their release in plastic is about 6 months.
As to availability with retailers, they usually place their orders in case if they have interest from their buyers.

Best regards,

Strelets

Thank you Strelets for this information.

Can I still ask you a question? Your next batch of production do you estimate it on what date about? Of course it's personal, not to claim. And I understand the difficulties right now because I'm going through them in my profession.

Kindly,

Hervé

Re: How long it is, when we wait!

Dear Zouave72,

no idea.
The new lot has being marinated in Dover for over a week because of request of an import clerk to prove, that the products, that were classified as toys, are complying with the EU Toys Safety regulations, also adopted by the UK in 2011.
The state apparently is worried, that us, 40, 50 and 60+ y.o. consumers will choke with these figures, as, obviously, experience, that we gained in all our previous life, doesn't give us a sufficient guarantee for future.
So, now laboratories, depleted by COVID free helicopter money, urgently scramble their last reinforcements to point at all possible hazards, that we face when buying these figures.
Kindly note, that when we put "all going well" subject in our messages, that comes there for a good reason, not some kind of last resort excuse for our non-performance.

Best regards,

Strelets

Heard from a retailer that not much is coming into the U.S. right now due to covid.
If this is still the case hope it changes soon so figures can come in. Cappy
