Re: War of Spanish Succession Mounted sets

You may be right Samogon.

In my view, it is important though to have at least one set each of French line cavalry (referred to generally as 'light cavalry', although it wasn't really such); and also French Dragoons. In terms of numbers of units and troopers, these would provide the majority of mounted units in any French army of the period.

French Maison du Roi cavalry is splendid, but with some of the units being quite small eg: the horse grenadiers (one company only), it seems a shame to have a set dedicated to just this one type of warrior.

However, Streets did make this error with the earlier Great Northern War sets, where neither of the two Swedish sets really represented the main regional Swedish cavalry regiments.

I'd vote for having sets that represent the main parts of the army produced first, with sets representing specialist units released later.

And yes, a set of Bavarian Cuirassiers at the Advance and mounted on large, trotting horses would be quite fantastic.

I concur.
