Dear James, Baratheon and all the members who are interested in Linear-a production: it seems to be that we will get two new sets in the future which are indeed very interesting: the first one is the 6th century Roman infantry, and it reminds me of the Greek-Gothic war and Belisarius. The second one is an addition to the battle of the Teutoburg forest, and we will maybe have Varus and his officers. Very exciting forecasts.
Thanks for the update. One needs to visit their site every day to keep up--as with Strelets, they are spoiling us.
The mind boggles at what might be included in 012s Publius Quinctilius Varus "DISASTER" "Varus give me back my legions I A.D.", particularly given the contents to set 010 Ancient Germanic Warriors Set 2. Command "Varus Give me back my Legions" (a bold set and one that I really like).
Thai is great news !!! Finally, someone decided to cover a topic that was so neglected - Augustian Romans and Justinian Byzantines !!! I do hope that we will not wait long for those sets.....
I agree with both of you. Unfortunately I don't think we will get them in a brief time since it takes time for Linear-a to prepare and finally ship the sets. Anyway, my surprise is always increasing as I see such sets announced.
Yes, this good news. During these dark times, I have been painting my stock-pile of 1/72 figures (still over 30 unpainted sets to go!) - this has really relaxed me, and made me content.
I never thought I would have felt so grateful to all the 1/72 figure producers. I have decided to increase my spending to further support them.
Any new announced sets by Strelets, Linear-A, Orion, Redbox, and Dark Alliance make me happy, to even know they are coming one day - hopefully soon in this awful 2020.
I also enjoy reading the messages and news on this great Strelets forum, from my fellow collectors and friends everyday. I'm sure you all feel the same way. :slightly_smiling_face:
