Welcome to the Strelets Forum. Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets. If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
Allesandro, I share your opinion. Stretlets are filling in an important historical era here. I like what they have done so far much more than the sets by BUM. I hope that they will follow up with artillery and cavalry, as well as specialized infantry sets....grenadiers in a set have been totally neglected by every producer thus far. The more nations represented the better. In my humble opinion, Red Box have done a wonderful job covering the 1500's. It's time that the late 17th and the 18th centuries got the same attention. Sorry, but I just do not need to see any more Napoleonic troops.
My fault, these are not dragoons as I thought, they are instead grenadiers. It would be anyway interesting to see some boxes dedicated to other countries which fought during the WSS, maybe prussians or austrians to represent the siege of Turin
Alessandro, I totally agree about the other nationalities, especially Austrians, Bavarians, and Dutch troops. And I apologize to Stretlets for my above mention of needing Grenadiers. I got on your site today and there they were, and I know that they will be beautifully done. Can't wait, and thanks!!
Nice to see the French finally managing to win a major engagement in this war!
It did seem to unravel the Confederate's gains, leading to a peace that was hard for sections of British opinion to take, used as it had been to news of a series of victories. See Gulliver's Travels for a taste of the controversy.
