I have looked at dice towers, but to be honest it's just another thing to carry to the club.
We just roll the dice and pull the ones that score and discard those that don't. Cocked dice aren't that much of a problem, we've been playing against each other for years.
Steve, dice towers make a wonderful rattle as the dice cascade down but you are correct in that they're but one more piece of paraphernalia. On some crowded battlefields they take up needed room, too.
Can't be bothered with them. I don't have but dice trays are quite useful for keeping dice on the table and avoiding cocked dice. At least one of the companies that make printed terrain cloths makes them out of mouse mat material. They are flat but have poppers at each corner that turn them into a little tray.
