War in Afghanistan Figures

Got some troops in the mail recently, mostly Strelets, but first a set from Ultima Ratio, their Afghanistan War troops.

Pretty good set, three identical sprues, and a decent selection of weapons.

Check out the links for photos.
Check out the rest of the blog for 20,000 more photos.

More figure reviews coming soon, including Strelets.
It takes a while to get the artillery glued together.

Re: War in Afghanistan Figures

Great work, Mike! Top quality photos and I really like being able to click on each photo and enlarge for details.

Regarding these Afghan figurines, I really like the way the sculptor shaped the base on each figure to look like the rocky landscape in Afghanistan. Nice touch; nice detail!

Great Blog; thank you - GC

Re: War in Afghanistan Figures

I have stumbled on your blog several times in the past and would like to take this opportunity to thank you for all the quality photos you have taken of different sets and put on your blog over the years. Don't know why, but finding good close up pictures of 1/72 figures is rather difficult.

Re: War in Afghanistan Figures

Thank you AP. Follow the blog and visit every day!

20,000+ photographs of real military vehicles, 1/72nd scale figures, 60mm figures, and GI Joe size figures.

I have posted every day for over 10 years.

There are more 1/72nd scale figure photos in the queue waiting to be posted that will appear over the next week.

Be sure to leave a comment too.

I love Strelets figures and just cut some off the sprue last night, their photos will be taken soon along with a few other sets.

Thanks for reading!
