Re: well, It's Friday again..

I don't think anyone has actually done a set of regular Prussian uhlans for the Napoloenic Wars, as the old Hat set depicted the Lutzow Freikorps uhlans. So I think there is definitely room for a set of them in reserve and another set at the charge.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

I like them.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

"I thought it was your turn to bring the horses! "

Re: well, It's Friday again..

 Perfect caption Sandy, I enjoyed that.

Lovely figures, I also prefer action poses but these look irresistible; and I'm sure I could couch a lance if I really wanted to.

And, just in case you can't think what to do next, a follow up set in kollets with some czapkas for head swaps would be nice too.

Are these Strelets or Linear A?

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Agreed Sandy/Graeme.

Napoleonics and humour, what more could we want for the Friday Teaser? Over to you Alan... hahahaha!

(I regularly look at the linear a website to see if they have updated progress, but it remains on '2' for now)

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Hi Strelets,
I like them .... but there are Linear not Strelets 😉 unless you're telling us you're going to provide an additional Prussian Ulhan box.
Isn't it cheating a bit? Just kidding.
Cheers

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Strelets
Gentlemen,

unlike our previous teaser, hopefully, this one will be a subject for a friendly week-end conversation:

Best regards,

Strelets
Dear Strelets,

It's always a special treat to see new Friday's Teaser Pictures. Thank you so much! This weeks Cavalry displays exceptional details. I especially love the detail on the flag on the lances that have a little line dividing the top and bottom. I can imagine the top being red color and bottom white color like so many cavalries displayed.

Because your Colonial subjects are some of my favorites of your sets, I hope you will consider making an "Add-On Set of Boer War British Lancers Set II" in pith helmets. I like Set I and have already bought and received more of your first British Lancers Set I in the newer lighter tan color to match the newest British Colonial sets.

That's my future wish for Cavalry sets!

You guys are great international friends. Our world needs more Strelets type global minded citizens.

Have a great weekend Strelets Team, and thank you, again. Your hard work is appreciated. - GC

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Brilliant, cant wait to see these out

Some Cavalry sitting round in reserve make a good change

Standing / Advancing boxes to mirror the infantry ?

cheers

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Great figures! You are absolutly right that we can enjoy this weekend without any disturbing debate! The prussian ulans were really missing in 1:72.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Looking excellent, another gap in my collection that will be filled!

White above black for Nap. Prussians.

The turned heads are for moulding purposes, I'd guess but a sharp blade, piano wire & glue would fix this.

I want the figures in a standing, "reserve" pose but really wouldn't whine too much if they ended up in action poses.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Well they are the worst LRDG/SAS figures I have ever seen ! :-)

Re: well, It's Friday again..

A classic response Alan, made me laugh aloud. Good on you.

Lovely figures Strelets. It's always wonderful when the subject of the Friday Teaser is Napoleonic, hahaha!

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Excellent sculpts and a great figure choice.

Really natural and useful poses, too. Figures need to rank up and there are far too many cavalry figures for this period charging around like maniacs.

Sound choice of poses.

Shall be buying.

Thank you

Well said Sir!

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Wonderful, wonderful...

I could not say ist better : "... there are far too many cavalry figures for this period charging around like maniacs."

This cavalry men are what i wanted.

If you want to build a marching Column of cavalry on the streets to Plancenoit...YOU NEED THEM !!!

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Superb figures - a real teaser. I can barely wait for them to come out.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

And their mounts? I'm optimistic the horses will be as good as the riders.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

Excellent preview of a much requested subject. :+1:

Extremely pleased that Strelets is taking up this essential troops now, because earlier attempts by other manufacturers were rather pathetic.

Looking very much forward to Strelets 1813-15 prussian cavalry and hope for various sets for this & similarly neglected but indispensable nap. subjects. :+1:

I disagree, other manufactures sets were for the time a breath of fresh air, I remember opening a box of Prussian lancers and thinking WOW! , just because someone made them, things have come on in the last twenty years or so, it does no harm to remember that we were not always spoiled for choice.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

I liked the other set and I still like it. Now, thinking about my previous post where I said I prefer action figures, it occurs to me that I already have good action figures in this uniform so it will be good to get these new standing poses for variety. Being spoiled for choice won't do me too much harm.

Re: well, It's Friday again..

The idea of laying these riders is great. It allows to collect large quantities of figurines on the same diorama. I would dream to have the same thing with French horse hunters before 1812 to have flanks guards.
