Re: 1066 Saxons

They are Tom. I’ve actually been painting some this week. Had to buy the big boxes to get them and I’m now overloaded with the ‘standard’ Anglo Saxons.

Re: 1066 Saxons

Sorry to resurrect this thread, but dear Strelets, a question to you:

Do you plan to release the other figures too from the big sets separately? The Vikings would be more than welcomed, as they are excellent figures, and even tho I bought one of each big sets on release, I could use some more of them. Same goes for the Normans.

Thank you in advance.

More bloody expense!! , the spears are not being held at the point of balance and look wrong , apart from that WOW , must have.
There is too much made of the point of balance thing, why limit your reach? It is sometimes neccessary to shorten or lengthen your grip to avoid putting yourself within your enemy's reach. The modern term is pool cue-ing someone, where you shoot your polearm forwards like a pool shot.

Lindy Beige does a number of YouTube vids that show a fairly flexible use of shafted weapons 9& swords, too).

BTW if you haven't seen his large number of videos, they're always good value.
