Brunswick Leib Battalion

It just came to my mind that the Brunswick Leib-Bataillon was part of the light infantry segment of the Black Duke's troops in 1815, and as such they did not possess any colours. Only the 3 new line battalions received a stand of colours before the Belgian campaign. So that beautiful colour bearer designed for the coming kit should better be replaced by some other figure, it is of absolutely no use.

Re: Brunswick Leib Battalion

My dear friend,

I do agree with your comment however...They can be used with minor effort for the line battalion and I foresee with a minor conversion the best flag bearer of the French Marines de la Garde you can imagine in 1/72. For me ok.

Best regards

For me too...

Re: Brunswick Leib Battalion

It would actually be more useful if the set was made as Brunswick line - there were more of them...

In summation of the four comments above; let's have both!
