Just wondering if anyone has any ideas of glaring omissions in other manufacturers ranges that need filling . Possibly a good earner for strelets . Here’s a couple , Prussian artillery for the seven years war , neither hat nor Revell have produced this . Cavalry and artillery for the Franco Prussian war , Emhar do great infantry , and a mark V tank for WW1 with sponson options so the WW1 and Russian civil war variants can be modelled . Cheers AlexM
The really big gap is the various eras of the Byzantine empire, two sets that try to cover too much and with accuracy issues such as cavalry troops being depicted as foot troops and another set that has been in preparation for years and I doubt will ever see the light of day.Probably of less appeal but a personal hobbyhorse, I would like to see Dark Age Scots, Picts and Irish - all these warriors were active in Britain for hundreds of years and have a very distinctive look compared to your average Viking or Anglo-Saxon. For Sub-Roman Brits we can get away with late Romans. For WW2 French and Italian colonial troops would be good, seeing as Africans contributed massively, particularly, in Free French forces. Where would LeClerc have been without the Senegalese?
