British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

I really like your new box for this set. Great looking photo!

Hopefully you will be making more sets of British in this range like you did for the American Civil War with each box having some Command, bannerman, bugler, and even casualty figures.

If you are thinking of making a set of British with Neck Curtains attached to their Foreign Service Pith Helmets, please watch the movie "The Four Feathers" 1939 version. These soldiers are wearing actual surplus uniforms from those wars, plus in the Nile River scenes, they actually use the real Nile River Gun Boats. The movie is great reference of period history, and you can watch it for free on YouTube

If you want to make a nice Second Boer War Train Conversion addition, watch the movie "Young Winston" 1972 with Simon Ward. Great train scenes. It looks like they have Long Toms firing from the top of a hill down on a train carrying British Soldiers (whether accurate or not) who are out on a patrol.

I always look forward to your weekly Teaser Pictures.

Thank you Strelets' Team! :relaxed:

Re: British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

I saw these guys and my first thought was: "NOW you're talking!" Great figures and set.

Re: British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

Fingers crossed they come out of the mould as clean as the masters, the masters are stunning figures.

Re: British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

... in my opinion some of the best masters by Strelets. Fingers crossed indeed.

BTW, does the title of the set gives us a hint of maybe more British Inf. sets to come or to just differ from the already existing (Set 038) one. If the sells are good, who knows.

Strelets
Congratulations, Strelets.
I, a collector from Brazil, have always bought a box of most of his new releases, but
production in the molds with the same quality of the master figures, makes us buy much more than just a box.

Re: British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

Could not agree more, well done Strelets they look fantastic and I will be buying a few boxes of these guys and more if the quality is as good as this lot.

Re: British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

Dearest Strelets,

Judging from the overwhelming positive + + + + + responses you elicit from your customers, you had better hope you made this mould out of good metals so you can re-run these figures at least thru your grand kid's generation!

I think I see a casualty figure on the sprew and in the masters so I'll be buying at least 10 boxes of this set to build up enough numbers of that one pose especially - Thank you :slightly_smiling_face:

You know this means you need to make more sets of these figures, don't you. And hopefully you will make a box of Highlander Infantry to go with the British Pom-pom Crew.

And further more ... Oh, was that my 3 wishe's limit?

Good on you, AP! Like your sense of humour and other contributions. Amazing, isn't it, that there are so many actual photos of the Second Boer War! Thanks for culling out the best and sharing with us.

Re: British Infantry Skirmishing M133 Box

They are amazings ....maybe the best set that you have done.
