Over the moon with that, both the subject and the pose, Thank you.
Up until now, I only had to save my "Milk Money" from school to pay for new figures. With so many new Colonial Figures coming out, now I'll have to save my money for "Hot Dog Day", "Cup Cake Day", "Ice Cream Day". Only you strelets, could make me give up those treats.
Really, great looking Foreign Service Helmet, all of the Accoutrements details such as Ammo Pouches, Pistol Holsters, and with last Friday's Teaser picture of the British Infantry the Foreign Service Pith Helmet with Neck Curtain.
I've had my Beau Geste FFL guys on my computer desk at home for weeks now. Just can't get enough of them.
Well done, Strelets! With your newest sets in production, and all of their fine details, and your appropriate colors, you've taken the 1/72 scale "Toy Soldiers" to the level of "Historical Miniatures."
Unbelievable - So impressive! - GC
Not really my era but nice looking figure, you are on fire Mr Strelets exciting times ahead for many hobbyists thanks.:grinning:
I dream of an oficer pointing with a broadsword.
I know, a bit over the top, but hey.
Splendid, more to add to my growing backlog of painting. I'll live forever at this rate.
Are we likely to see the rest of the 3rd Foot & Mouth (The devils in Skirts) and Sir Sydney Rough-Diamond and other occupants of the Khalabar Governor's residence?
Niiiiiiiiiiiice!! Very keen to see the Brit's opponents
Does this mean that we will be seeing a new set of Boers soon?
Great sculpt and subject but I for one don't like the pose - what exactly is he doing? - looks like he's about to lift up his kilt like that scene in Carry on up the Khyber!
A few months back, Mr. Strelets did ask for suggestions for North-West Frontier, and "Carry On Up the Khyber" was one film suggested as research material. That sculpt does remind me of the officer played by Roy Castle! I do hope they get adversaries to fight such as the Burpa tribesmen from the film...
P.S I'll be buying many boxes! Loving the new colonial line :+1:
