Dear Strelets, i need info/answers

Dear Strelets... well i don't have to repeat the headline. It's about the possibility of new sets or reissues. Cause you're doing most likely undone things, but to keep it simple, a Yes / No / Maybe (or something miraculous) will be enough for me!

1. Is there a chance to make a Pirate set, if i suggest some assembly, poses/personalities etc.?

2. What would you say about pre- & post-Columbian Maori as a set?

3. Chance for reissue swedish infantry for the great northern war?

4. Chance for Artillery & Defense-Weapons out of medieval chinese military books? (i can give a list of such books)

5. Do you already have further plans for Wild West? If it's secret, just – are there Indians included?

6. Is it to creepy, ( ;-) suggesting and) doing a Vlad III. Drăculea Țepeș Set with a „Pile Forest“ etc.?

7. Chance for Grenadier-set (maybe related to a special battle) in which they use grenades and especially grenade launchers actively? (again i can provide pictures)

I will let it by this questions, even if i have more.

Best regards,
Ortwin

Re: Dear Strelets, i need info/answers

I'd like to see Strelets re-release thei set of British and Austrian headquarters set.

I like the ideas of pirate sets and Vlad Tepes sets.

Re: Dear Strelets, i need info/answers

Dear Ortwin,

1. no - it has been done by Orion already.
2. no - how many people would buy such a set?
3. no - molds have been re-cycled already.
4. no - that's way out of our usual lines of themes.
5. no - we can barely cope with those lines, that we've started already.
6. no - it has been done by Lucky Toys already.
7. may be - although it requires a new line for early XVIII c.

Best regards,

Strelets

Are there more ACW sets in the pipeline? And thanks for what you've produced so far. :+1:

Thats a faint indication of a fresh 18th century "tricorne"-range from Strelets?

Although Zvezda, Revell & Strelets have released some figures for relevant conflicts in the past, there is most definitely room for further expansion and improvement of the whole era.

Most major conflicts of the age of "Kabinettskriege" (& adjoining periods) are only sparsely covered or completely untouched in 1/72 so far.
Some extremely interisting possibilities could be:
Great Northern War and subsequent Russo-Swedish Wars (1741–1743 & 1788–1790)
War of the Spanish Succession
War of the Quadruple Alliance
War of the Polish Succession
War of the Austrian Succession
Seven Years War

Austro and/or Russian–Turkish Wars
(1735–39, 1768–1774, 1788–1791
American Revolutionary War (the latter two entries were no "Kabinettskriege" by definition, but many involved units featured a very similar appearance)

Would be smashing if Strelets would consider one or more of the mentioned conflicts!
