Welcome to the Strelets Forum.
Please feel free to discuss any aspect of 1/72 scale plastic figures, not simply Strelets.
If you have any questions about our products then we will answer them here.
These look fantastic I had convinced my self I didn't need anymore Highlanders & then Mr strelets you show us these beauties is there no end to this Napoleonic madness.
Seriously though what is the chances of you adding Firing lines to the Napoleonic ranges just try one set & see how they go should be a good seller for you.
It seems England expects every SCOTSMAN to do his duty, they look like they will.
Very nice command figures, and officers in overalls as promised. Well proportioned, actually human looking highlanders, wearing realistic looking bonnets. You do like to do things differently.
England expects every SCOTSWOMAN to do her duty, you mean. That Scottish mum certainly did her duty. Look at the faces. Quints, beyond doubt! Or are they just clones...? But those whiskers and moustaches, why do they look so Victorian? ... Ah yes, because they are a bunch of Victors, of course ... silly me!
Demar strlets friends,
These are excellent figures. It’s a napoleonic revolution!
Go on and good sales!
Ditto Peter's comment; who'd have thought that I'd 'need' more highlanders.
They are sooooo beautifully sculpted. Well done.
I'm with the rest of you - I painted so many plaids and tartans back in the fall painting your figures and touching up and re-organizing my old ones I didn't want to ever see another highlander - I think I already have as many actual Highland figures as were at the Battle of Waterloo - and I haven't even finished painting some of the ones that have been waiting for a few years.
But for these...
Not more highlanders??? Can we not cover subjects as yet ignored? Highlanders already have their own section on PSR. IT'll be highlanders sat down next, followed by highlanders cleaning their kit, highlanders sleeping, highlanders down the pub.......... please, please, please close the gaps in the hobby first
I do hope that Strelets will not be put off by the few naysayers.
When it comes to Napoleonic highland infantry, none of the existing 'available' sets come close to them for quality of sculpting nor for the range of poses.
I look forward to getting hold of these, and any future highlanders (the ones at the bar sound like a great idea! :joy: )
Given Strelets response to other enquiries, I can only assume that the previous two sets of highlanders have sold well (which would not surprise). As the proof of the pudding is in the eating, so the proof of the sets is in the selling.
When I look above, “I think the ayes have it”.
