for 2019+: Byzantine army

The Byzantine Empire is still a big open gap.

There are different periods (from the early - Justinian and Herakleios, the medieval until the late - after recapture of Konstantinopel) with a lot of possible sets.

Until now there are only 3 infantry sets available,

and:
will the long time ago (since 10 years?) announced sets from HÄT ever realized?

... and remember: the Etruscan Set from Linear_A seems to be very successful (and do to that they will also produce a cavalry set!).

Byzantine army will real open a new and interesting range!

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

I agree. Lack of Byzantines is a huge gap in our beloved hobby. So please consider making lots of sets to cover this topic

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

byzantines to fight over italy with strelets normans would be a start.throw in some lombards as well.

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

I support idea of making Byzantines.Orion sets are quite good but still not enough for this subject.Hat will make them in...100 years so we all need Strelets or Redbox to fill this gap. This site may be helpful - https://vminiatures.com/28-mm/byzantium/ or this one http://wargameterrain.blogspot.com/2017/07/fireforge-games-new-byzantine-skoutatoi.html.

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

I agree with my predecessors. We are missing really medieval byzantines.

It would been wonderful to have byzantine riders and foot-soldiers of the 5th/6th and 11th/12th century which will fit very good to Strelets already existing sets.

A great desire of me and many others.....

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

I definately Support the request for medieval Byzantians

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

Would definitely like to see Byzantines. Obviously later ones would fit in with Strelets' Normans but earlier troops were really distinctive in appearance.

Re: for 2019+: Byzantine army

... and in addition:

there are for each period a lot of (colorful) enemies
