it seems that my 67 Y.O. eyes are seeing a Zulu War or 20th century canteen on top of British haversack. Am I hallucinating? I would just paint over them,but I don't think that would help and I am too over hobbied to cut them off. Should I just paint them as Metal canteen/white or tan cloth cover? Suggestions please...

Can you please recommend an online source for these figures. The rear of the drummer's jacket seems to be rather ornately decorated. I could use info on Grenadier mitre hats and jackets and not sure about officer's cuffs.
