I think that would be useful. The Norman Camp set has some figures that look to me as if the Normans are "harrying" an Anglo-Saxon village, women running in distress, a man with a halter round his neck, a child being dragged away, a soldier with a burning brand and a mounted figure with a woman across his pommell. Not pleasant but very useful for some vignettes or dioramas.

Figures like this always have a place! Someone made a couple vs Vikings awhile ago. (Orion was one) Medieval & Roman civilians in peril always has some use.
