Re: Friday Teaser 2

I echo everything PtG has said. Just a small addition:

The small AA gun looks as if it could be constructed even when cast in soft plastic. The big gun, no way.

Re: Friday Teaser 2

Hi all
here's my two pennorth on the subject of guns and vehicles. After many years of model making (badly!) and approaching retirement, I can only say that after assembling many cannons and vehicles (I still have a few Atlantic plastic kits) in soft plastic I infinitely prefer the multi part subjects in hard plastic.
Soft plastic is very fiddly to assemble, doesn't usually take glue, often requires reaming out of axle holes etc, sometimes won't accept paint, and due to poor fit means many small parts come off!
So for me, it's hard plastic every time for guns and vehicles, plus good, clear instructions!

Re: Friday Teaser 1

Yah got me? Tho I must say, all those tiny parts on T2 do NOT please me! Good looking guns tho!

Re: Friday Teaser 1

I like these, but if your doing lots of tiny parts, very hard plastic that takes glue please.

Re: Friday Teaser 1

I'm hopeful you cast your cannons and machine guns in the same plastic as your figurines.

The only cannons I would agree better off in hard plastic would be the gigantic WWI Seige guns already released, and this Teaser 2. At this scale I can't imagine putting together so many tiny parts.

I really like all of your Crimean War cannons and have bought many. Please make your Boer War "Long Tom" style and WWI cannons (not the gigantic ones) in the soft plastic that just press together. They assemble just fine.

Re: Friday Teaser 1

Please, Can we march to the sound of Napoleonic guns soon, They have very few parts and would sell very well, It was Grouchy's big mistake and cost Napoleon the battle, I know my armies are always wanting more guns.

thanks in advance

Now that's a good idea starting hopefully with the Polish artillery then the French using the same cannons

Re: Friday Teaser 1

Great Suggestion Steve,

The reuse of gun mold would cut down production time / costs and mean sets could be more cost effective for strelets and we might be able to get sets sooner.

Same concept could be used for nations that used the British artillery guns.

we live in hope

Re: Friday Teaser 1

We need ACW heavy artillery, plenty of Nap cannons on the market.
