Re: Whats about civilians?

I would like to see some civilian sets - for me it would have to be full sets as I wouldn't buy a set of an era I don't collect just for a couple of bonus figures - WWII civilians or medieval or dark age people would suit me fine. A variation on this theme that would interest me would be armed civilians that could fit in about 1918-1940s. I would like to use them for VBCW but they could be used for all sorts of inter war conflicts such as Spartacist rising or even SCW and resistance/partisans.

Re: Whats about civilians?

We need really more civilian sets. I don´t share the view of very specialised civilian sets like medical crews or scientists. I like more the idea of regular people of different social classes

My favorites
Medieval civilians for towns and villages - eventually 2 sets: early and late middle ages, the first 11th-12th century, the other 14th-early 15th century
Ancient Greek/Hellenistic Civilians
Punic and phoenican civilians
Oriental civilians - they can been used for the late antique as the middle ages or Napoleons egyptian campaign
Monks and priests - theirs costumes didn´t changed much through the times, so they can fit to quite different periods
Marlburian civilians around 1700
Napoleonic civilians
ACW civilians
WW 1 civilians and refugees

I am absolutly sure there are many collectors who would buy these sets... And please more women! Eventually 40:60 women-men....and some children

I agree with you here Sansovino, we need general ancient sets, people walking around, standing still, perhaps sitting at a theater. Children walking around, playing etc. People to populate cities, villages and so on. A lot of the sets from Valdemar and others are so specialized, and furthermore, expensive. Also middle class people for Victorian London, poor people, beggars and so on, working class women etc..
