Re: News Releases Strelets.

Thanks for the positive update. :+1:
Have to save up some hobby budget for this forthcoming release batch now.

Regarding the presumably composition of the next batch, the following 12 sets seem to be the safest candidates.

158 Confederate Infantry skirmishing
159 Union Infantry firing
165 British Camel Corps
166 Australian Camel Corps
167 Turkish Camel Corps
170 Old Guard at ease
171 Old Guard at attention
172 Arab Uprising camelry
M110 Spartacus Army before battle
M123 Imperial Camel Corps dismounted
M131 Australian Camel Corps dismounted
M132 8th Army Heavy Weapons Squad

1 ancient, 2 napoleonic, 2 ACW, 6 WWI & 1 WWII sets. Although a bit heavy on WWI camelry, a fairly diverse batch.
Will order nearly all of em (apart from the ACW ones), in many cases more than one box. Quite an amount to look forward to. :sunglasses:

Thanks for the heads-up & keep em coming! :+1:

Re: News Releases Strelets.

I just love how quickly Strelets moves from concept to figures on the shelf, while keeping us updated at every stage. They are the industry leader in this regard by far.

It means I can plan upcoming projects with certainty.

Re: News Releases Strelets.

Looks like: 1xAncient (Spartacus before battle), 1xWW2 (8th Army Heavy Weapons); 3xNapoleonic (Old Guard at ease, Old Guard at attn., French Line at attn.), 4xACW (US Infantry Firing, Confed. Skirmishing, Pickett's Charge 3, US in Attack 3), 6xWW1 (British Camel Corps, British Corps Dismounted, Australian Camel Corps, Australian Corps Dismounted, Turkish Camel Corps, Arab Camel Riders).

Re: News Releases Strelets.

Thanks John!
Some of these are long waited for me, I think all of them would be of very high quality !!!:grinning:

Another vote for WWII Japanese Type 38 75mm Arty to be released!

Re: News Releases Strelets.

At the moment it looks as if Strelets is going to release no less than 15 (!) new sets this month. :astonished:

158 Confederate Infantry skirmishing
159 Union Infantry firing
165 British Camel Corps
166 Australian Camel Corps
167 Turkish Camel Corps
170 Old Guard at ease
171 Old Guard at attention
172 Arab Uprising camelry
178 Pickett's Charge Set #3
179 US Infantry in attack Set #3
184 French Line Infantry at attention
M110 Spartacus Army before battle
M123 Imperial Camel Corps dismounted
M131 Australian Camel Corps dismounted
M132 8th Army Heavy Weapons Squad

Bearing in mind that there probably will be a similar release batch around christmas again, we could possibly receive 30 (!) new figure sets from Strelets in 2018. Nearly half of this years foreseeable total production (all manufacturers combined).

The hobby seems to be in very good shape.

Looking forward to the WWI, napoleonic & WWII sets in particular.

Re: News Releases Strelets.

There may well be those marching Prussians too Peter. No box for them yet, but neither was there for the Spartacus Army until yesterday! :)

As you point out, Strelets continue to put out quality, interesting and unique figures in a marvellous quantity. It's great to have a release of 10, 12, 15? sets in under(?) a month with the prospect of more to follow in the not too distant.

How lucky we are. It'd be good to enthuse young ones as we ourselves were (big assumption about the demographic of this forum there).
