PSR News

Does anybody knows something about this? Which could be that forum?

I read this in the PSR News page:

"...Four new Strelets titles revealed
A forum has stated there are four new Strelets sets in progress. These are:
159 - Union Infantry Firing
178 - Pickett's Charge 4
179 - Union Infantry in Attack 3
184 - French Line Infantry Standing at Attention
The last is Napoleonic, and probably for the last years, but we shall see...."

Re: PSR News—didn't I see a list?

I saw a list, an absolutely wonderful list of sets, nine of which were immediate 'must haves' for me!
I was going to comment, about my joy, thanks and general admiration for what Strelets continue to produce—and at an amazing rate. Others already had commented to that effect.
Am I losing my mind, or has this post *disappeared* faster than sanity, respect and tolerance in modern politics and society?!

Re: PSR News—didn't I see a list?

There was a list containing I believe seventeen new sets, I thought it was a lot of sets to release all at once I was expecting around half that amount ah well it was a lovely dream while it lasted.:sob:

This is why I check this forum every 3 hours mate! We're not losing our minds. We were tickled with a feather, then that post or thread by Strelets was deleted for some reason. But I compiled my immediate order-list from that post:

158 Confederate Skirmishers
176 Jap Type 38 arty
M077 Spartacus Army*
M110 Spartacus Army before battle*
M132 8th Army Heavy Weapons Squad
155 Picketts Charge 3
170 Napo French Old Guard at Ease
159 Union Infantry Firing Line
179 Union Infantry in Attack
172 Arab Uprising: Camelry

*Sadly I think only one of these are in the next production release though. And some of the other sets to be released in this next batch are the WWI camel corps British, Australian, Turkish mounted and dismounted I think (I'm leaving those for later when I save more money)...

Re: PSR News—didn't I see a list?

Thanks Baratheon.

Yes, I only recall seeing the Spartacus Army, unfortunately. The masters for the 'before battle' set are sooooo good, Perhaps they were put off by the few detractors. I guess that we who thought that they were fabulous needed to yell louder! Such a varied and useful set for the Spartacus uprising, but also so many ancient characters and leader figures. I do hope that it makes the release in the one after May.

My list was similar to yours, except that I replaced the Japanese artillery with the French firing line and the added the Prussian marching set and ... one other 'must have' that I can't recall, to make nine. Reckon those lovely Foot Bashi-Bazouks will be in my order too, if they make it.

No matter, it must have been a bit of a slip to put them up.

Whether all or only some of them are in the May release it is still a fabulous prospect and we know from the many 'teaser' and masters that have been shown on this forum that there is an abundance of figures on the way from super-Strelets!

Re: PSR News—didn't I see a list?

Thanks all for your answers.
Yesterday there was a thread at this forum about may new releases which confirm PSR post. But it disappeared.
What caught my attention was that Strelets still had not shown the masters of some of the sets that appeared in the May list.

Re: PSR News—didn't I see a list?

hi guys,

I posted the question that was about the general staff set 2 being reissued and the list appeared shortly after. I am slightly relieved as my bank account was about be get slammed so hopefully sets will be released at a slower pace giving my war games fund time to recover.

so it looks like a great year ahead and Santa will be busy for us all. Sorry I mentioned Santa coming we have not even had a spring in Scotland
