Re: Japanese type38 75mm field gun

Count me in! The figures look terrific and can be used as crew for lots of other kinds of Japanese guns. As far as I know, the seated crew are the first seated Japanese figures in this scale in plastic (except for BUM's!). Since many Japanese guns featured fixed trails with seats for gunners, these will be especially useful (and perhaps even susceptible to conversion into drivers).

I am in too !!!
I hope some interesting US marines or Chinese will be added. Not to mention some British artillery of the (forgotten) 14th army...:yum:

Re: Japanese type38 75mm field gun

Thank you Strelets for the WWII Japanese artillery.

I am sure many of them will find their way into my Imperial Japanese Army.

Re: Japanese type38 75mm field gun

While this much-wanted set is still under development, can I ask please for the following to make this the perfect set:

Please add a dial sight. This is essential for all 20th century artillery because it enables indirect fire. They are a pig to scratch-build.

The wheels look a bit oval but that might just be the photo. They come with the correct number of spokes which is much appreciated. The shells however look a bit slim for 75mm.

Many thanks, Pa

Isn't this gun supposed to have a shield?

It is indeed, and if you look closely, Strelets seem to provide pegs for it on the carriage's front. Regards, Pa
