How about some mounted bands such as these (Napoleonic French dragoon and hussar bandsmen):

I'm sure somebody recently modelled something like these on Bennos site recently I think he modified some other sets to create it.
It would be a spectacular set though I think I would buy a couple of boxes.

I presume that these figures are made from the french resin-producer Napoleon Figurines.

The figures are regulary well-sculpted, but sometimes also a little bit fragile. The problem for a plastique figure-producer would been the necessity of 2 boxes or a double box for a Mounted Napoleonic band and who would buy several of them.
