Vikings on Horseback. My dream is to have vikings on horseback to be able to replicate the recent TV series: The Last Kingdom.

As it the Christmas season initially I thought this was a Scandinavian version of 'Devils on horseback' using raw herrings rather than prunes!

Certainly worth considering as raiding did involve getting inland asap. It would be a more accurate representation of the era.
