Re: Highlanders at ease

PeterTheGreat
Agreed, the Highlanders look great. :+1:

The current Poles, Scots and "Brits" along with further (recently unveiled) sets in the pipeline makes Strelets the leading 1/72-manufacturer in the popular & lucrative section of napoleonic period figures.
Who would have thought that 5 years ago? Bravo, Strelets!

Personally I'm very happy that the nap. Poles received some long overdue & well-deserved attention finally.
Have to admit that I wasn't in a desperate need for even more "british" nap. figures since there is already a large abundance of adequate sets available (when compared with the secondary role the played in real life).
But I won't complain about this appealing additions to the ever growing napoleonic range.

I truly hope that Strelets will handle Napoleons main continental opponents in a similar remarkable manner!
Austrian, Russian & Prussian Line Infantry in this "marching", "in attack" & "at ease" combination would be big sellers I guess.
:+1:
I agree with Austrians Prussians & Russians & would add Bavarians, Brunswick infantry & Nassau infantry, but I would be more cautious & just release the marching sets first to make sure Strelets can make a large enough profit on each set.
I think it is telling that we haven't seen the poles at ease yet I think maybe they have not been as profitable As the British sets but any new marching Napoleonic set will I believe sell shed loads no matter what country they represent. But I think the In attack & at ease sets are more specialist sets & they maybe do not create the same volume of sales, I may be wrong & This is only my opinion :innocent:

Re: Highlanders at ease

Yes, the "at ease" sets seem not as desirable for the minor belligerents as they surely are for the major ones (France, Austria, Russia & Prussia).

I think the "attack" sets are more essential to the specific kind of warfare though.
Therefore they could be much appreciated additions & perform favourably I hope. :+1:

Re: Highlanders at ease

Nice sculpts! I like the new red that is more crimson & less brick!
