The long-awaited Honved set Strelets produced has been reviewed by plastisoldierreview.com now.
The review is pretty elaborate and allows a fine insight into PSR's scores.
I'd like to know how the machine gunner looks from the front (as he is the main figure of interest for me in that set), and about the conversion possibilities. Turning these figures into early Honved hussars will be lots of work since legs and headgear will have to be replaced on most figures.
Well I like the set for its variety with both mounted and dismounted figures which I think is a good idea that strelets should continue in particular for WW1, however would have prefered more sedate poses for the mounted figures including the horses, and the foot officer posing with his pistol in such a nonchalant way is really ridiculous..
There was a method of mounting the MG on a back pack type frame instead of a tripod but I dont know if this was used by cavalry, I think a suitable light MG with a bipod would have been a better solution..
The Jackets... I can understand the reason for the pelz and personally I dont have a problem with it, certainly on the games table it will make little difference...
