Thank you very much for the time taken to provide your insightful thoughts. I see there are financial challenges these days, and I certainly do not want your company (or any other) to stop producing figure sets if you cannot make enough money to survive and thrive.
I would be quite happy to pay (reasonably) more money for great figures, but for 48-50 infantry figures in a box (as an example). Otherwise, I would have to consider simply buying multiple boxes to make up for the difference in figure quantity. But the impact of increased shipping costs (to me) would increase also. If then, the cost to have these figures are simply too much then I would put them to the bottom of my order list (it's a long one!) and acquire other sets which contain more figures for a cheaper overall price.
If everyone (or many) feel like me, then the sets with just 30-36 figures per box may end up selling poorly, and the company may not sell as many sets as they expected or want... customer expectations/sentiment could then further impact product sales and reputation...so going back to a chocolate bar story (if anyone is interested in knowing more):
