our Norman conquest Big Box series proved to be a success and almost completely sold out. We estimate, that in one month's time they will all be sold, which is highly unusual for any subject these days.
Thinking about this subject, we've covered almost all aspects of the pre-battle, battle and post-battle events and participants, or have we missed something ?
What's your opinion on that?
As for my collection, I purchased 3 Big Box Sets of each of the four plus more of the original sets. Found the Tabletop Workshop Tower set to recreate The War Lord plus some other full set castles. Got a few Seige Towers to light up the Chuck Heston's mansion. I can assemble some sizeable invasion armies with this. I couldn't be happier with the poses in Strelets sets; this new highly detailed sculpting is simply awesome, and I love the Norman Dark Silver color. Italeri makes a Battle Field Accessories set with a wooden bridge (takes 2 to make it long enough). Got Cavalry, Infantry, Archers.
Before Strelet's Norman Conquest of England Range I knew no actual historical details of this history. If some other Forum members recommend something new to add I'd buy that too! Wow, what an awesome Range!
In the mean time, I'm looking forward to investing what's left of my retirement savings on the upcoming American Civil War Range and new Lawrence of Arabia sets.
Bravo and Well Done Strelets with your Norman Conquest of England Range.
