If possible, I try to spray a set of figures in it's primary color and then do details. Which brand or brands of spray paint come out FLAT? I've been lucky with Tamiya for yellow mustard for Africa Corps for example. I ordered a couple of cans for other projects and they didn't apply as flat (I tried these on Hat figures). Does anyone have suggestions? I checked out Hobbylinc.com and hardly any spray paints specified FLAT.
Usually paint brands will label their flat colors as having a matt finish and you can find matt spray paints amongst most brands. Also if a color you really like turns out glossy spray it with humbrol Matt varnish to make it flat. Hope everything goes well.
